Ben Hughes is a young goalkeeper whose career hasn’t followed the typical trajectory. Ben played his football at Chippenham Town, where his talent was identified and he was named in the First Team squad aged just 16. With a number of first team inclusions, Ben gained his National Team’s attention, and was called up to the Wales U18 National Team. Having played international football, a number of clubs were interested in Ben’s signature.

Ben opted to sign for his boyhood club, Swansea City where he now plays for the U18 side. Ben has since been called up to the Wales U19 National Squad and has appeared for Swansea in the FA Youth Cup.

With plenty of natural ability, we are eager to see where Ben can go now he is in full time, professional training.
