A product of Reading’s successful academy system, Tyrell Ashcroft made his Championship debut aged just 17 years old against Millwall in a 1-0 defeat in 2021. At the time, Tyrell became the youngest player to play in the Championship in the 2021-22 season. Starts against West Brom, and Derby County soon followed for this highly impressive teenager.

With blistering pace, and sound defensive fundamentals, Tyrell is an extremely promising young full back who possesses all the capabilities to have a career at the top level. We are delighted to be working with Tyrell and are looking forward to a long, prosperous future.
